A Study of Miracles
Introduction There is a continuous misconception of what miracles are, what their purpose is, and whether or not there are miracles even today. In this article, we’ll address all three of these. In an upcoming series, I’m going to address miracles in scriptures that didn’t have faith around it. What is a Miracle? The definition…

Two Harsh Truths about Jesus
Introduction As was mentioned in the Bible Monday Meme from June 17th, people know less about the Jesus of the bible because they are more concerned with their own invention of our savior. In this article, I’m going to show two realities of Jesus as found in the scriptures. Jesus was Never Saved! This may…

Fake (faith) Healers
It’s Monday and it’s time for another Bible Meme! The text in today’s meme states: You don’t see Faith Healers working at hospitals for the same reason psychics don’t win the lottery. It’s amazing to me how many people believe in modern day miracles and yet not really see that they don’t exist. What I…

Vacationing from God
Introduction On my way home from worship, I sat at a red light and looked over at the electronic sign in front of a denominational church. Introduction Everyone knows the importance of assembling with the local congregation. We do it not only to edify ourselves but also to edify one another with our presence. When illness or other obstacles stand in our way, it’s always best to stay away to prevent the spread of illness or other problems. But when a…

Which Jesus are You Following?
Another two-for-one meme special. Today we are focusing on Jesus of the Bible vs. Jesus of the World. As a reminder, Monday’s articles have moved to Tuesdays. In this first meme, the statement reads: Be sure the Jesus you’re chasing is not your own ego. The idea behind this is that people create who Jesus…

Back from the Dead
Introduction For centuries, it has been claimed that people can communicate with the dead. Millions of dollars have been lost to con artists declaring that they made contact with a deceased relative. This bible states that it is not possible for this to happen. And yet, suppose it were possible for someone from the dead…
