Fake (faith) Healers

It’s Monday and it’s time for another Bible Meme!

The text in today’s meme states: You don’t see Faith Healers working at hospitals for the same reason psychics don’t win the lottery.

It’s amazing to me how many people believe in modern day miracles and yet not really see that they don’t exist. What I mean is, as the meme states, faith healers don’t work in hospitals. I’m sure they would give a number of reasons not to work there but, if they really had those abilities, they’d be doing it free of charge.

One of the biggest proofs for me that modern-day miracles don’t exists came at the start of the worldwide pandemic in 2020. In April, the news announced that all faith healing services were cancelled because of the COVID outbreak. Cancelled?! That’s right! If this isn’t proof, I don’t know what is. All faith healers should have been right on the frontline when this went down, visited all the hospitals and healed every individual.

Looking at the scriptures, the Apostle Paul had wrote this to the church in Corinth, Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. (1 Corinthians 13:8-10)

“That which is perfect” means the scriptures. When they were completed, then the prophecies, the healings, and the rest of the spiritual gifts were done away with. There was no longer a need for them.

Conclusion

Starting this Saturday, I’ll be posting a new series on the subject of miracles. If you’re unsure of what to believe or not to believe, I hope this series of articles will help you come to a definite conclusion.
